20. LUKSUZ FILM FESTIVAL
YOU ARE INVITED TO SEND YOUR SHORT FILMS UNTIL 10/10/2022
The 20th Luksuz Film Festival will take place on November 5 in Krško.
Luksuz produkcija supports low-budget films created by new generations of filmmakers.
We will host young filmmakers for one day and establish a research platform for a wide variety of public screenings of short, low-budget films
and a safe space for dialogue, exchange of ideas and experiences between visiting filmmakers.
We invite young people from Slovenia and Croatia to register their works, which, if selected, will be broadcast at the festival in Krško.
There are no restrictions on film genres. Documentary, feature, experimental or animated short films should first of all be characterized by an unbridled, free and belonging spirit, which in one way or another eliminates a set of constructed social, religious, cultural, ethnic, political, intergenerational and, of course, expressive barriers.
This year, the Luksuz Film Festival offers the possibility to apply in two competition categories:
1. Young filmmakers (Slovenia, Croatia) – for authors aged 18 to 30.
(Length of submitted films: under 30 minutes.)
2. The youngest filmmakers – for authors up to 18 years old
(Length of submitted films: under 10 minutes.)
Preference will be given to films completed in 2021 or 2022.
There is no limit to the number of entries from one creator, but they must be submitted separately.
The Luksuz Film Festival does not require a registration fee.
